Qualities I believe an effected MSU President should have: Optimism, with an underlying sense of pragmatism. Dedication. A sense of drive. Empathy. Being personable. Results-oriented. Dependable. Candid.

Why I'm running for MSU President: I decided to run about 3 months ago. I'd always been involved with various groups on campus, but it wasn't until my 3rd year that I stepped foot inside the MSU office. I joined the SRA during the October By-Election because I was interested in better understanding the operations of the University and the Union. I think I bring a unique style of leadership because while I understand how the system works, I have an outsider's understanding of how the MSU is perceived and what is important to students. After learning and being involved with the MSU, I came to find I cared immensely about the issues and could be a student leader that people could have confidence in.
